Salivary cortisol differs with age and sex and shows inverse associations with WHR in Swedish women: a cross-sectional study
Published 2009Reviewer Insight11/4/2025This study doesn’t focus in menopause. As well, the participants belongs to a small town in Sweden. It is reported they are obese, and women smoke more than men. Statistics are not standard for answering some of the correlations. There is no proof of causation with menopause. Actually, women over 50 and below 50 don’t show differences.
