This observational study serves as preliminary research with inherent limitations—interventional studies are needed to establish causality. The findings show a correlation between physical activity and slower cognitive decline in individuals with high baseline beta-amyloid accumulation. The model was adjusted for sex, age, and demographics. This is a good study that provides rationale for an preventive interventional trial in this population.
